Colleagues!

On January 22nd Ukraine celebrates the Day of Conciliarism. On this day
in 1919 the Western and the Eastern parts of Ukraine have united and
formed a single state. Now we, the Ukrainian pirates, want our country
to become one of the coasts of freedom — a territory with strong pirate
traditions.

We ask you to express your support of the Ukrainian pirate movement and
all free Ukrainians! We ask to symbolically share freedom with Ukraine:
to 'like' http://www.facebook.com/piratepartyua "Coasts of freedom" and
to leave there your wishes to a country that aspires to freedom or send
them to [email protected].

Your support is very important for us for the following reasons:

- We want to show to the Ukrainian politicians example of real
interaction of public and political structures, the possibility of their
collaborating not only on a national scale. For today the level of
cooperation between various organizations is minimal.

- Show the scale of Pirate movement in the world. For Ukraine it's a new
political concept and we need to use any newsworthy issues for its
promotion.

- Show every Ukrainian, those who became pirates because of supporting
freedom or just of coincidence, that in the world there are many people
who share his beliefs.
