Even if I knew what the pirate party's agenda in .de were, I would not vote for them. They seem to proclaim that they want to make a difference, even in the right areas. But they seem SO divided that nobody takes them seriously. It seems that they want to be as different as the original green party started off. But with all the rules and regulations around it's pretty tough to remain that way. It all shows in the appearance of Joshka Fischer throughout the years - started off in jeans and Nikes and now looks like all the other conservative party members - a fatso in a suit with tie! With one shitstorm after another in the German pirate party all they shout is that they are not united, not in their agenda and not in how they want to accomplish it.
It's my personal view, the bits and pieces I hear without following any news or being involved in politics. It's a shame that people don't take them seriously with all the conflicts made public. But that proves again the point - a house divided will not stand - even if it is because people don't vote for a conflict-loaded party.
