Friends of the Pirate Party of Greece
Organization to help the Pirate Party of Greece to participate at the national elections of June 17.
 
The Pirate Party of Greece will participate in the national elections of Greece, on the 17th of June. However, since the last elections were only just a month ago (6th of May), the Greek Pirates are facing great economic problem.
Funded until now only by Pirate Party of Greece members and friends, they managed to cover the expenses for the first elections (mostly printing expenses of ballots, about 15,000 euro), participating only in 31 of the 56 districts. The election results were quite satisfactory, getting 0.51% and 32484 votes.
Now they are trying to participate all over Greece and print flyers for a better campaign with a total cost of 30.000 euro.
 
The time frame for the elections is extremely small, though. So, we’re kindly asking for your help, in order to manage to cover the same expenses one more time, so that the Pirate Idea can carry on through the elections.
