Translate the video into your local language
You can translate the subtitles and the words in the video into your local language. To change them:
Find the words in the video you want to change and double-click on them.
That will bring up the 'event' in the editing pane on the right.
Translate the text in that pane into your language.
You can also change the font size, placement, timing, or colour. It's up to you!
Change the tone or content of the message
Think the message of the video needs to be changed? Is it too aggressive? Too polite? Does the video miss key issues? You can tweak the content so that the wording and tone is tailored for your audience. To change the content of the video:
Find the words or images you want to change. For example, the question "Who wants to control your Internet?" at the 17 second mark, or the list of issues and images that appear at the 38 second mark.
Double click on the words, images, or links you want to change to bring them up in the editing pane on the right.
Change the content to a message that suits your audience. What does your community care about? Your friends? Why do you think this issue is important?
You can also change the font size, placement, timing, or colour.
Customize the call to action
What do you want people to do? Do you want them to donate to Access Now or to your own organization? Do you want them to sign a petition or call their government representative? Do you want them to come to your conference, read a blog post, or share the video with their friends? To change the call-to-action:
Go to the call-to-action section at the end of the video. It starts at the 52 second mark.
Double click on the words, images, or links you want to change to bring them up in the editing pane on the right.
Change the content to a call to action that suits your audience.
You can add your logo and 'donate now' button, a link to register for your conference, send out a tweet, or simply ask them to share the video with their friends. Be sure to add links to your content: they can click on things from right inside the video.
